We couldn’t find the type of data we required in the marketplace so we created our own data feeds and modelling tools. This knowledge now provides CMOs with an unprecedented level of insight into consumers’ actions and attractions.

What is Orbit Red?

Orbit Red are the consumer communication specialists. We are the only combined full-service advertising agency and analysis bureau in the Nordic region. We are also one of the only communication companies in the world that have the processes ensuring consumer data is effectively leveraged.

Where does the name Orbit Red come from?

Blue are passive consumers – red are activated.

Is it a goodbye to ’the agency’?

Yes, we opted to change The Orbit Agency’s name to Orbit Red as we felt it better represented the company’s broader capabilities. Although we have a less colourful logo we are still the same key people.

Is Orbit Red an advertising agency or a digital agency?

Both, as almost all of the projects we undertake result in digital communication of some sort. We work effectively across medias; SoMe, websites, apps, e-shops, newsletters, banner ads and all traditional medias are part of our daily delivery. What is the advantage of Message Modelling?

The data allows Marketeers to evaluate the relative strength or weakness of consumer messages. In macro terms it makes your advertising spend go further. In micro terms it can make a like-for-like banner campaign perform 37% better.

Is Message Modelling Expensive?

No. The cost compared to other types of data is very reasonable.
Of course, the cost of message modelling varies depending on market size. There are some saving ratios depending on market size – World, European or a single country data packages. Please contact us if you’d like to get a more accurate cost estimate.

Do I have to use Message Modelling to work with Orbit Red?

No. In some cases we would not recommend Message Modelling. For instance, if you already know what you want to do or the communication idea has already been consumer validated, there would be no need for more data. Also, for small jobs or specific on-going tasks Message Modelling would not be necessary.

Do I have to use Orbit Red to get Message Modelling?

No. A significant part of our business is white-labelling Message Modelling for marketing departments, advertising agencies, in-house agencies and media bureaus.

Buzzword Bingo?

Christmas In Numbers (Julen i Tal) is a guide, that will improve your small talk skills. The book is based on analysis, data, statistics and Social Media-data gathered from 746.998.338 interactions on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram and gives you a unique knowledge about a lot of things you may or may not need to know. Based on the motto: Better to know a little about a lot, than a lot about a little Julen i Tal will leave you wiser on subjects ranging from G-strings and Bockwurst to Yala the hippo.

Christmas In Numbers (Julen i Tal) is the first in a series of Orbit publications that focuses on consumers in a specific context. The book is based on analysis, data and statistics and will transform your view of the holiday season. Regardless of how turned on you are by data driven insights, we promise that you will become wiser on a large range of Christmas related subjects such as erythropoietin (EPO), Danish sausages, photocopy machines, condoms and consumers consumption of prunes. That is of course if you manage to read the entire book and statistically there’s only a 25% chance of that.

The Two-Headed
Consumer

The Two Headed-Consumer unlocks the secrets of the modern consumer. It explores how our media habits are merely the symptoms of a far deeper shift in the consumer mindset generated by the maturing of connected technology and its integration into our everyday lives. It exposes how the expanding digital economy has created a new set of preconditions for companies and brands wishing to engage with consumers. And it studies how marketing attention have been distracted by coming to terms with the new media landscape – while far more fundamental changes have occurred to the traditional consumer-brand relationship.

The Two-Headed Consumer does not spell the death of marketing as we know it, quite the contrary, it illustrates how there has never been a time where leadership and marketing vision are so greatly needed.

The Echo Effect

The Echo Effect is the companion publication to The Two Headed Consumer. The Echo Effect challenges the communication industry’s deep-seated work processes and methodologies that have been employed since the Mad Men days. It looks at how true innovation is in short supply and shows how the aging advertising industry still prefers to rely on guesswork rather than leveraging the new types of data available today.

Data Vs Creativity
We take the power of creativity very seriously but never let it cloud our judgment. Our track record illustrates that this is not merely an ideal but a commitment. In 1999 we created our first digitally integrated campaign for Sony – one of the first anywhere in the world. Since then we have pioneered viral marketing with Quiksilver’s Dynamite Surfer and Sprite’s No Sugar No Bullsh*t campaign – one of Coca-Cola’s first content campaigns. We were behind the Danish Cancer Associations Frederik Fetterlein social media campaign and created some of Denmark’s most effective and loved universes. New Media Vs Old media
Although the majority of our work is digitally based communication, we’ve spent years working in top international and local agencies so we have been well schooled in the traditional disciplines of TV, print, outdoor, radio and POS etc. In our day-to-day business we handle big things and small things – we care as much about a single social media update or web banner as we do about a fully

integrated digital campaign. We’re excited about the possibilities of influencer marketing and know how to effectively leverage branded content. We also develop apps, hybrid apps, websites and webshops as well as developing strategies for innovation projects.
